Shoes for me have always been more than something you put on your feet. They have been a source of confidence, a talking point and an expression of creativity.
I can't speak for everyone, but personally, trying on and buying clothes has always been a difficult process. Often there have been low points where nothing fits like you want it to. The point is, buying shoes has never left me feeling lack luster. I want everyone to have this feeling, to be excited about opening the box, having that new smell, new feeling, and turn up to wherever you are going with your shoes on, and your head held high.
Ieyan Boa was created with comfort and individuality in mind. All of my designs are quirky and expressive. I am lucky to work with a fantastic manufacturer, who helps me source the best materials for my vision. I am of the opinion that shoes should last, they are an investment to support your feet and fill your soul with joy.
We strive to create a special experience for everyone. When something is rare, often times it is seen as more beautiful to the eye of the beholder. Much like great works of art or bespoke jewellery. Here at Ieyan Boa we only order the minimum amount of shoes our manufacturer will complete. Once all 150 pairs of each design are sold, they will not be available again. We do this so you can have a unique buying experience. You are 1 of 150 people in the world to own that very pair of shoes. The likelihood is, you will never meet a person with the same pair of shoes. They are rare. This is why we allow customers to pre-order a design they really love in their size before manufacturing is complete. You simply fill in the form, we take a deposit and when the shoes arrive you will be priority number one.
